Are the meals ready-made?

Yes! Just heat (or shake the smoothies) and eat! All of our meals are ready-to-eat. Just shake up your smoothie or shot and drink. For our cooked meals: pop your soup, noodle bowl or dish into the microwave or re-heat on stovetop for easy meal prep in minutes.


How and when should I consume Splendid meals?

There’s no right way to Splendid, but if you are craving structure, most of our customers build a weekly or bi-weekly delivery to stay healthy amidst busy schedules. Some of our favorite ways to order:

  • 6 Meals per delivery: Great for committing to 1 superfood-packed meal a day during the busy 9-5 Mon-Fri grind. 5 smoothies, soups or dishes mean you have breakfast or lunch covered in your busiest moments. We love the 6th spot for a 5-pack of shots.
  • 12 Meals per delivery: For the 'vegan before dinner' - 2 meals per day during the workweek, plus a few extra for in-between moments. Our co-CEO Elise loves 6 smoothies and 6 soups in her weekly delivery - she uses the smoothies as pre-workout fuel, and the soups for a filling lunch. Good for body, good for planet.
  • 18 Meals per delivery: For those of us who crave at least 2 superfood meals per day, but usually more. Supermom and founder Nicole packs a smoothie and soup for lunch, and usually has a noodle bowl or another soup as her 'pre-dinner' while she preps family meal at the end of the day.
  • 5-Day Detox: For anytime you need to reset, recharge, and reboot. Over 10 years of customer data, and the latest in peer-reviewed research on fiber, protein, intermittent fasting, and plant-forward nutrition in one practical, time-saving, 5-day ritual. No subscription required!

What if I don’t like a certain ingredient, or have an allergy?

You can add or update your meal filters at any time. Simply select any ingredients you would like to avoid to refine your menu options. The Splendid subscription is designed for you to 'set it and forget it,' so your meal choices will remain as your default box menu unless you change them.

What changes can I expect after starting Splendid Spoon?

It takes most of our customers 3-4 weeks to start seeing meaningful change, even with just one plant based meal a day. Customers comment on weight loss, increased energy, better digestion, deeper sleep, and clearer skin, just to name a few. Will I lose weight on Splendid Spoon?

“Will I lose weight?” is one of the most common questions we get asked. Splendid Spoon isn’t a diet or a short-term fad. We are a plant-based wellness brand built on the idea that just a few small changes can create a lasting impact on your health. Eating plant-based regularly has lots of benefits, which may include weight loss for you (among other things like increased energy, better sleep, stress reduction). How are your recipes designed?

All of our meals are plant-based, gluten-free, and non-GMO. That means completely vegan: no meat, no dairy. Here’s more on why we promote a plant-forward diet. We steer clear of processed food and artificial sugars, and we use heart healthy fats and fiber rich whole grains to keep you satiated. All of our meals are developed by a team of food fanatics, including chefs from all walks of life, nutritionists, and registered dietitians.

"At Splendid we have a thoughtful development process that is rooted in flavor, nutritional value, and high quality ingredients. When launching a new meal, we go through three rounds of tastings with our food innovation team and customer advisory board. If our meals don’t score a 3.5 or higher, then it is back to the kitchen! I am very active. Will I get enough protein from Splendid meals?
