Today, give your full attention to eating. Consider leaving your phone at the desk and taking your soup for a walk.
Sit somewhere that’s gadget-free so you can focus on enjoying this meal, not being distracted by emails or notifications.
Even if it’s only for 10 or 15 minutes, revel in the simplicity of this moment.
Take pride in single-tasking: a skill you may have never given yourself credit for, and will benefit greatly from.
Carry it with you throughout the day, focusing on one task at a time.
Remind yourself of the clarity and stillness this kind of intentional focus on single tasks (and joys!) will bring to your thoughts, no matter what’s in front of you.
This week’s meditation is by our friends Ellie and Lodro from MNDFL. It uses simple techniques that will help you cultivate your daily practice.
